City of Longmont’s Universal Recycling Ordinance

The City of Longmont’s Universal Recycling Ordinance (URO) begins implementation January 1, 2024. The URO will require recycling collection for commercial businesses and multifamily properties not already subscribed to recycling collection services. The City will provide resources and assistance to support implementation, including training and educational materials and signage to ensure proper sorting.
