Building Tiny Homes for Veterans
5/20/23 from 8:30am-3:30pm
Join us to support this important mission that benefits homeless veterans
Would you like to help the Veterans Community Project build 26 tiny homes in Longmont for homeless Vets? Join us on Saturday May 20th, 2023. We will not be just building temporary homes for our patriots (and some families) to live in, we would be giving them a runway to future success. These homes surround a Community Center that provides all the necessary tools and services, vital to the success of our Veterans in transition.
Daniel Kuhlman, BARHA member, is organizing the day for us.
An Army paratrooper veteran myself, I have already participated in 2 build days and both were days filled with purpose, and shared with old and new friends. Now I am organizing my own build day. While we won't know exactly what we will be doing that day until we get to the site, no matter your skills (or lack thereof!), I guarantee it will be a great day. Everything will be ready for you when you arrive. I will even be providing morning snacks, drinks and lunch.
